I agree that Iraq was not a problem before we removed Saddam. We had UN inspectors in the country breathing down his neck, he hated al Quaeda, and we essentially had Iraq bottled up.

The problem is that if we pull out and let them have at each other, we create another 1990's Afghanistan, where Osama bin Laden used the power vacuum to operate freely and plan all his attacks around the world. The USS Cole, the African embassy bombings, 9/11, etc.

I don't like the idea of pulling out, and I don't like the idea of staying there either. It's a totally f@*ked up scenario either way. What a damn mess.
