Food is a special situation. Congress created the food problem with their asinine taxpayer subsidized ethanol. If the subsidies are stopped many farmers will go back to planting food crops.

It sure is a global economy, and current account balance
matters. Fed lowers some more, and long rates will go
bonkers... to the upside. Besides, US Gov. is less solvent
than Fannie, Freddie, and Citi combined.

Stuff happening to coffee too, again, at the time of the
big Fed cuts. Must be peak coffee out there. Those
evil Brazillians -g-
