The nightmare scenario:

We just have to draw the line somewhere. "Fortress America" doesn't work. We need to be over there taking them apart before they can do these kind of things.

There will always be many people who hate us. Take away their money and organization and all they can do is set on there Gap dung heap and shake their fists at our passing planes.

The nightmare scenario: a merchant ship 150 miles off our East Coast fires a couple nuclear cruise missiles to take out DC and NYC.

It's likely we could get a lot more accomplished under this scenario.
