Well then you are not the type of person the program was designed to cover.......too many people lack that discipline and become a larger burden on society later on.

I'm happy that you plan to be independently wealthy, but just in case things go against you, 90 dollars a month at age 65 will buy you a nice insurance policy.....

I worked for a very large company that allowed us to by company stock at discount......about 40% or so did not participate. We also had IRA's and 401Ks with the company matching the first 3% of your salary......many , perhaps the same percentage, chose not to participate. A lot bailed out as soon as their investment selection turned south.....most, of course, had little knowledge of investments.
