Yeah, but that'll take time and doesn't necessarily have an impact on earnings. I think the market grinds down as earnings struggle.

It is possible that the market will crash based on the catalyst of my closing out short positions today.

Well, I feel smart for waiting to add new short positions (other than trading during the day) until after this craziness this afternoon. At one point during the day I was actually hedged and net long but I got out of all of it- that would have made me look smart, I guess.

You think we can legitimately bounce up there, lets say +5% on the S&P? I don't but I'm curious what others think...
