Yep, things are quite a mess and will not be fixed easily. Inflating out of this black hole is probably in the cards. Entitlements put into place 70 years ago aren't suitable anymore, but nobody can change it and still get elected.

Not a scam, but who knows if worthwhile. Worth looking into, if only to get the feel for it. They did move a lot of property. Don't know yet how many of those closed or got financing. In this case, all the units were easy to scope out, being in one complex. I'm still waiting for the spring selling season to flop or not before I'll seriously think about it.
