I already said I don't read the Times on a regular basis and even more infrequently would I refer to the NYT as a source. I would never consider the NYT a source for anything political as they are a politically corrupt paper. Not because they want to be, just that they are run by a family and they have no journalistic credibility as a whole. There are some contributors on that staff who attempt to be fair or so it seemed to me at one time. My personal experience with them was never good, but the NYT isn't the only newspaper in such a position. It just happens to be the most well known and therefore the most glaring in their attempts to influence rather than report. They are doing so very poorly as a business now. Maybe if it is sold and the family influence removed it can become a beacon for the truth. I have my doubts, but not because of the NYT culture, but because of the News culture in the USA. I think the UK has the right idea and allows people to sue newspapers and other rags for outright lies. It seems the NYT is no different from other rags when it comes to "unnamed sources". Let them prove it and clean up the news media altogether. The people need protection from these other huge interests, not so much the government for which the protections were spawned. It isn't liberal, conservative interests, Republican or Democrat interests that are the greater problems. It is the huge money interests who use the media as tools to enslave the masses like opiated babies.
