I say gold continues to zig-zag here slowly moving upwards till the next Fed cut? That's what happened during the last consolidation period. Both consolidation periods (Nov-Dec., and late Jan-Feb) were pennant formations (larger triangles, smaller triangles) as noted by some old guy I follow.

I prefer XAU and GDX as gold stock indicators. HUI can be too wild for my taste. This looks like a pullback to the breakout point or upper triangle boundary, but who knows what other mischief Da Boyz might have in mind.
