McCain spin on lobbyist scandal won't work. Anyone with a brain only has to take one look at the photo of the sexy female lobbyist and know what was happening. McCain sold out the people for a sexy blonde, $85,000 in contributions and free rides on Paxton Communications private jet. Then he interceded in a FCC deliberation and pestered and intimidated the board members who were opposing Paxton, which according to the former FCC head had never been done before and was way out of line for a senator.

In other words, McCain went to extraordinary, even illegal, lengths to intervene in a business deal on behalf of Paxton, while he was attending events and flying around the country with Paxton's sexy blonde lobbyist, who looks like a younger, sexier version of his second wife, who is already young enough to be his daughter. So McCain likes sexy blondes. Normal thing for a guy. But there goes his reputation was being incorruptible. Plus, everyone remembers the Keating 5 scandal, one of the biggest ever. McCain was one of the guilty parties. So maybe tigers can never change their stripes.
