From your post in 2003:
The negative outcomes are far more numerous and likely than the positive- which makes one wonder how the rose tinted glasses folks manage to see only positives for the Iraqi people. Is Bush passing out Soma to the folks who support him?

Apparently he was.

Yes, that was a good post. And many of us were posting similar things back then, even prior to the invasion.

We should know by now that Bush supporters see only what they want to see, and remember only what they want to remember. After all, as one of their leaders said, they aren't "reality based," they "create reality," while the rest of us just "react" to what they, superdupermen that they are, do.

Thee and me. I was totally, unabashedly against the war and got told off as unpatriotic... a liberal... almost a communist
on threads I no longer participate in.

Chickens come home to roost.. We used to say in Pennsylvania..
but it is not something I care to gloat over when reviewing
the consequences of what our incursion into Iraq has done.

Too much suffering and death as well as UNRESOLVED issues such as the oil paying for the war. The government the Iraqi's were supposed to embrace. Democracy I think it is called.

When when when...................................????
