About that same time, another letter crossed the Pacific, this one heading to Africa. It was from Barack Obama Sr. to his mother, Sarah Hussein Onyango Obama. Though the letter didn't go into great detail, it said he had met a young woman named Ann (not Stanley). There wasn't much on how they met or what the attraction was, but he announced their plans to wed.

The Dunhams weren't happy. Stanley Ann's prospective father-in-law was furious. He wrote the Dunhams "this long, nasty letter saying that he didn't approve of the marriage," Obama recounted his mother telling him in "Dreams." "He didn't want the Obama blood sullied by a white woman."

Barack Obama's Shameless Racism

Democrats have cynically played the race card every two years, and Barack Obama seems to be the poster child for it this year. Best of the Web notes:

"Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois today urged hundreds of blacks not to vote along racial lines next week in Maryland's Senate race. Obama, the only black U.S. senator, came to the state to rally support for Democratic Rep. Benjamin L. Cardin, who is white. Cardin's Republican opponent, Lt. Gov. Michael S. Steele, is the first black candidate ever elected statewide and has been courting black Democrats."--Associated Press, Nov. 3

"The nation's only black senator, Barack Obama, D-Ill., asked voters at two black churches and at a Nashville rally to elect [Harold] Ford, a Democrat who is trying to become the first black senator from the South in more than 100 years. 'I know that all of you are going to work the next couple of days to make sure it happens, because I'm feeling lonely in Washington,' Obama said at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. 'I need my dear friend to join me.' "--Associated Press, Nov. 5

This guy is an outright racist if this is really what he believes. If it's not, then he's just another duplicitous political hack. Either way, the media-fueled halo that surrounds him is certain to dim as people realize he brings nothing new or valuable to America's political discourse. Pathetic.

>>" Obama voted with the trial bar to block America's access to foreign phone conversations. So when it comes to bipartisanship and change Obama represents partisan politics as usual. "<<

Don't vote for him...vote for McCain...rumor has it that he likes the Souter model for SC appointments. Keep tuned to Rush... Don't give up your subscription to worldnetdaily.

But not too worry...maybe the guy who believes he can baptize the dead will "unsuspend" his campaign. But if as he says, his continued campaign will lead the country to a "surrender to terror", maybe you can get a chance to vote for the guy who wants to amend the Constitution to declare that the Earth is 6000 years old.

But golly, don't vote for Obama; why migosh, he doesn't wear a flag pin!

You just like criminals or, even better, you and your Republican hacks think that some people (corporations with deep pockets especially) are above the law whenever they feel like being above the law.

The FISA laws and the wiretapping laws are clear, flexible and easy to follow even for stupid Republicans. There is a window during which no warrant is needed if there is an emergency.

You would have AT&T wiretap without a warrant whenever Republicans wanted to listen in on their enemies. You love criminals and law breakers. You want to protect criminals and law breakers as long as they are doing Republican bidding.

That is the be all and the end all to the Republican message: Republicans support criminals. You people have no character.
