I had to chuckle as my mind went to Edwards. I wanted to shout "no", as Edwards is far too left.........

I don't think Obama and Edwards are all that different. And that strikes me as the problem. I still think, despite the Clinton-Gore evidence, that the choice of vp needs to widen the possible electorate.

Edwards didn't strike me as a strong candidate this time around nor in 04; nor do I think he would poll as well in the sectors of the south that Obama needs.

Still looking, though, for the strong female candidate.
