Actually, as I understand it, that's one of the things that make McCain different. He issues these categorical denials which come back to bite him; while the rest parse their words/sentences/paragraps till they are mush.

Dangers each way. And I gather Isikoff and others plan to make McCain more aware of the dangers of his style.
