How about the governor from Kansas? Sebelius. Two problems strike me right away. I thought her appearance after the state of the union was weak. That's the only appearance I've seen. Second, I would suspect each ticket will need to have someone as vp candidate who could, arguably, step into the presidency on short notice. I don't think she fills that bill well. The one that has been coming up in my mind is McCaskill of Missouri. I saw her defending Obama on Chris Mathews show the other night. She did well.
