Absolutely. The first thing that popped into my head when I thought about the police entering peoples' homes to remove previously registered firearms was that they could be much more easily bribed and that the criminals and the cops would soon be splitting the take. Even better, a cop could then scout for the crooks to avoid wasted break ins at homes less likely to yield large hauls. What a perfect world.
