LT, Bush could have conjugal relations with a goat on TV, announce that Osama was his new pick for Homeland Security secretary, and then send another trillion dollars to Exxon and Iraq, and 15% of the electorate would still support him. That hard core is in deep denial. So I don't think you re-stating the facts is going to move those folks any. They don't want to hear it. Better to move on and focus on how to get out of this military/political/economic pit the last 8 years have put us in. That is, if there is a way out. Btw, I bet Bush does one more spectacularly stupid thing before leaving office. He ain't done with this country yet.
