In Europe we used to have tame figures, depending on whom to believe... but there are some hot spots: rents went up 10%, the volatile foods prices rose 20% in short time. Leading the price hikes are wheat products with a more than 40% jump, on average (discounted stuff nearly doubled). And we had a strong currency. In some areas, Gasoline reached $9 pg.

In comparison: the toughest negotiators, the mighty German Metals Union reached a wage hike of 5.2% (gross) for its workers.
My company has a policy to hike expenses around +4% overall.
