But you aren't subsidizing their share of America.
+++++

It costs the same to park a G4 at Kona airport as it does for me to park my car for the day. I'd call that subsidizing the ultra rich.

Tim,

if i'm paying for the billionaire's portion of the government, then i am subsidizing them. you had no clue that the owners of 5% of american wealth DO NOT pay 5% of the tax burden b/c they didn't spoon feed that fact to you.

so, how do you all of a sudden know my taxes don't cover my percent ownership in america?

look, if you can turn your libertarian dream into reality, then i'll work within that *reality*. until then, we have a mess that is worthy of all kinds of curse words, but i'll spare the extra key strokes.

we ought to do something about this mess, that is *real*, other than take the position, "reality isn't what i want, so financially enslave our grandchildren so i can get some mo' for me and mine."

to shift the debt to future generations is to totally punk out and ought to be a reason to live in shame.

if you want government to shrink, as i do, quite b*ing about the size of government and get out there and shrink it so taxes can be reduced the ethical way, not the unethical way.

if you can't do that... well, someone has to comment on reality, even if you don't understand it.

we are worse than a nation of thieves... it is what we do that defines us, and we spend other people's money so fast drunken sailors would blush.
