Yeah, it looks like the "Conservatives" are going to head back to the days of the "John Burchers (sp)" after what George W. and Karl Rove have done to the Republican Majority. I predicted a few years ago that Bush would be the Herbert Hoover of the 21st Century for the Republicans and he's right on target to be just that. 2008 will look like a tsunami of voter disenchantment compared to 1994's small tide. Like Coolidge, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Reagan and Clinton.....Obama will have a 2 year FREE PASS to blame everything on his predecessor (and lose seats in 2010) before things turn around in 2011 and he gets set up for an easy reelection in 2012. Bush has given the Democrats at least 12 years in the White House and probably 20 years controlling Congress. The BIG MONEY interests (the oil companies) wanted Bush and they got him. They CLEANED UP TOO, so everything worked out the way they wanted it.
