One percent or 3 million is very relevant. One more time. I didn't say that 3 million rich people are irrelevant. I'm saying that they skew analyses intended to examine the status of the middle class. If lopping off the top one percent offends you, then lop off one tenth of one percent. I would have said that originally but I was trying to simplify. The point is that you have to get rid of the zillionaires before you can evaluate the dollar levels that are real to ordinary people.
