>>Skeeter, narcissistic sociopaths can do things that I can't, and those guys are the ones who make it to the top far too often in the US. I don't think it is a good thing.<<

agreed, but it *is*, far too often, reality. i've seen it up close and personal - a real estate agent telling a client how they will make lots of money on appreciation and telling me, the same day, that it was time to sell his condo b/c housing wasn't going to go any higher.

people lined up to have this guy sell them houses, too.

i'm not saying government is good - government sucks. it is worse than the average private or public company that sucks, too. let me be clear - city government sucks, state government sucks and federal government sucks. all are run by narcissistic sociopaths who would gladly spend $10 million in taxpayer money to get $100k back.

arnold is a total sell out in california - he recently lobbied to keep over 40 socialists in power using a fraudulently advertised proposition 93. these are the worst of the worst politicians that he said he'd fight against in order to get elected. not any more - he's buddy, buddy now.

all i'm trying to do is point out that robbing others to fund our largesse today is wrong. make no mistake, that is *exactly* what our society is - a society of thieves. someone has to pay... and we do all we can to make sure it isn't us.

i'm all for cutting fat, but corporations that receive that fat spend $100s of millions to ensure that doesn't happen! the mentally ill guy isn't lobbying.

btw, were those movies entertaining?

border town was pretty good - although the subject matter of 5,000 missing women in juarez over the past 15 years is quite disturbing.
