since you don't know, deficits occur b/c of spending is higher than income.

you can balance this out in a number of ways, but adjusting income is one way to do so.

while i agree that spending is absurd, especially corporate welfare, this doesn't shirk the responsibility of good people to make good on their current spending obligations.

perhaps "good" is as rare a critical thinking ability.
