No her husband is alive. They have a great EMT service there. She does pretty well inside the house and always wants to help him with their meals. When they built their house, her FIL came to live with them and she designed all the doors to be wheelchair accessible so that if he ever had to use one, he could get around comfortably. He lived to be 92 before passing and did use a wheelchair. Now her house is comfortable for her too since she had a stroke six years ago this coming Easter. Her right side is still kinda weak, but she is so headstrong she pushes herself a bit. She just gets so frustrated when she can't do something she was so used to doing before the stroke. They also have children that live in their area and one of them is always by to check on them most days.

Yes, I am so looking forward to a get away with the kids. They are such fun to go gambling with. It will be relaxing for all of us. My husband is now thinking about giving up his golf game to go and I suspect he will and that is something he doesn't usually do. I think he decided he doesn't want to miss all the fun we're going to have. <gg>
