for epm do not forget copper, thats not hedged and copper$ is doing fine.it is only part of the gold that is hedged so upside on the rest of the production.jmfo.marci!

Of course, they hurt to some degree. All hedges hurt in strongly trending bull market. But WGI and EPM types of hedges are not marked to market. So only the quaterly portion sld a lower prices will impact on the net profits. In the case of EPM, strong copper prices will help close those hedges real soon.
