I agree for you and me and most people. But we still don't have equal protection, even though we have that right. So it has not been "accomplished". I have to press for and insist on my right to equal protection, and then provide that for 100 or 1,000 or 10,000 or 100,000 or 1,000,000 others who will not have to fight that cause. It may take me a letter or a month, or a year, or 6 years on one issue. And others do the same. But it is a slow process at the citizen level for justice. Still, it may be faster than Congress.
