"Larry believes that for there to be law and order in Texas, returning to the LORD in repentance and submission to His Law is essential" How many times have we heard this before. Surrender your brain, free will and no doubt all your money to Jesus (well, Larry actually) and you'll all be saved from the evildoers (evil according to Larry, that is). Sounds like the Committee To Elect Larry (and probably Larry himself) need to watch The Rapture imdb.com where getting overly fundamental ain't all it's cracked up to be. For those who haven't seen it, in The Rapture, Mimi Rogers plays the type of lost soul that a guy like Larry would gladly indoctrinate into the believing flock. In the movie however, bad things happen after Mimi wholeheartedly embraces the above-noted LORD in pursuit of absolution. I won't spoil it any further other than to say the Law of Unintended Consequences comes into play (like it always seems to)
