manalagi, we indeed are twins separated at birth. I'll triple my contribution too if Obama gets that passed as well. Then we'd see social security fixed in a heartbeat, wouldn't we? :)

My buddy works for the feds. He will get a 90% fixed pension when he retires. My mother was right when she said get a civil service job. As a soon to be retired person, i understand now how much that is worth.
