So then, while we're at it:

Medical records contained in the police report indicate ribs 7, 8 and 9 were broken. ribs 7 and 8 were "lateral" or on the side while 9 was "postlateral" or side and back.

emedicine.com

punctures were noted at the nipple and below the scapula (shoulder blade)

The three broken ribs were near the back wound. No ribs were broken near the nipple.

A very clear funnel pattern with the tip of the funnel at the nipple and the mouth of the funnel at the three broken ribs.

His body tells the story. As did the doctor when the doctor wrote "exit wound below the scapula."

X-ray noted several bullet fragments remained within the body. Whatever left the body was smaller that what went in.

So far I hold the possibility of an honest error by the police.
If you continue to press "shot in the back" I will have to assume malice.
