Tiger Woods was some of these dudes first real contact with a black person. As long as they dont get class warfare rhetoric or hate-america first words on foreign affairs, Obama has a good chance at what used to be the Rockefeller wing of the party that was last headed by Colin Powell. How about Ed Rendell for Veep--then he gets a shot at ethnic reagan democrats. Both acquisitions require a subtle move to the center. If he doesnt do this, he can still win a rove win by a point or two, but big tent is now a possiblity for the dem party and thats what obama is talking up when he refers to transformational reagan 12 years--actually 20 if you add clinton tail to the reagan dog.
