SO, you are giving too much value to "cultures" and "race". Multiple languages are a waste of time. One language is plenty thanks. The others can all go the way of the dinosaurs.
The purpose of language is communication. Some languages are well-designed, some are not. Some have economies of scale and network effect and some do not. Languages have value as in $$ owned by the users of the language, so Mandarin made no headway outside China for decades because there was no value in it, no network effect, no economies of scale. Plus, it's an ideographic effort which doesn't seem an efficient way of writing.
English, or more accurately, American, has value, economies of scale, network effect, and while it could do with some metrication, it's a reasonable sort of design. Esperanto was supposed to be a better design, but it has made no headway.
I guess that pronunciation will increasingly standardize in American/mid-Atlantic and there will be a rationalization, and simplification of it gradually [such as writing aluminum instead of aluminium, color instead of colour as simple examples]. I recall being frustrated as a child with the lack of logic in English. It's worse than pounds shillings and pence, inches, feet, miles, furlongs, fathoms, nautical miles, ounces, pounds, bushels, gallons, quarts, pints, etc. Metrication and decimalisation were great and avoided a LOT of child abuse - torturing them with absurdity of Olde Englische avoirdupois.
Same with "multiple religions" = they co-exist but for the most part, one becomes dominant in an area because the priesthood and kings gang up and kill anyone who disagrees, not because they are intellectually persuasive. Religion should be like sex - legal among consenting adults in private.
Historic cultures should be illegal where they impinge on other people. For example, Maoris historically captured opposition, tattooed their faces, cut off their heads, ate the bodies and sold the dried heads. Now they come over all maudlin about it. Historical cultures were uniformly barbaric, red in tooth and claw, unfit for modern communities. Such customs should be, and are, illegal. Duels are frowned on these days too but if they are voluntary for both parties, it seems a reasonable idea.
It's important to kill "different" people whose culture is to enslave or kill me. Osama for example wouldn't be happy with my ideology. Beijing's bosses too would have me in prison, or worse. Tolerance of different people has its limits.
Eating multiple foods isn't my thing either. I don't see why vegetarians should humour barbarians who eat enemies they have killed, or drink kava or other poisonous muck designed by plants for self-defence.
I didn't say I'm Ethiopian. I said I'm Ethiopian or something like it, as determined by a particular gene [could be Indian, Moroccan or something]. Macro features remind me of Ethiopians too. Not the melanin-rich aspect. I'm quite deficient in melanin so have to be careful in sun-light, especially in NZ where the air is clear and the ozone is thin. As Kyros says, there's Ethiopian in everyone outside Africa because that's where the father of all non-Africans came from about 20,000 or 30,000 years ago.
What have you got against Ethiopians? Are they too Islamic for you?
