Still do as a threatened response to nuclear terror on our home soil. Absolutely. MAD worked in the Cold War and it would be very effective to control the despots in the Middle East who fund these terrorists. If they knew their lack of control over their minions would be existential for them, then maybe they wouldn't be so generous with their funding. However, believing the above and liking the neo-cons are two very separate things. The neo-cons and their ideology has proven to be a failure. I won't blindly follow folks who are failures. Only stupid people continue to believe in a plan or party that have repeatedly failed to deliver results. You should look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself why you still believe in the neo-cons.
