I know it's a low probability event but as far as I can see it is possible, and anything possible usually happens sooner or later. I hope that Streettracks and the SEC have considered the possibility of a short attack on GLD and have a plan to counter it but then you would have expected the banks to have had a plan for their current snafus too and they are up to their backsides in alligators, without a paddle...
