The NY Times article is 100% factual. McCain and the rightwing lied about it and falsely attacked the NY Times instead. That's what happened. The NY Times remains our most credible newspaper, and always will be. The far right just hates credible newspapers that aren't afraid of unmasking dishonest politicians. But they are doing their job, per the dictum of the Founding Fathers on why we need a strong independent honest press to preserve democracy.
