<<All its means is your saying that the government pays for everyone to have access.>>
No i am saying everyone contributes eventually to government health care in Canada through their taxes so it is of "common " interest to all who contribute and use the system.

As a taxpayer do you feel that you have contributed to the nations roads and infrastructure?
Because you have contributed do you feel you have the right to use them?
Are you happy to pay tolls over bridges and on freeways or do you feel you have already paid through taxes for their use?

In America you have the "tragedy of the commons."
You are buying health insurance and supporting the systems while increasingly millions are not.. it is the same as the commons pasture land analogy...the communal owners of the pasture land add more and more sheep ...eventually ruining the pasture for all.

America is adding more and more non paying not accountable sheep to its health care pasture land.America has "the commons' in many areas as all wealthy countries do, but not in health care.
