I just opened an offer from the NYT for 7 day a week home delivery for $6.40 per week here in NC. Wonder how much negative cash flow that offer represents? Is that a trial offer or the permanent price?

They in effect are charging for the Sunday subscription, because that Sunday subscription number allows them to charge more to the advertisers....

It's still too expensive for parakeet bedding...that is their best hope for new subscribers.
