General Petreas cannot even keep Iraq's neighbors from invading the country. They must be stretched as thin as they can get.

Iraqis have been engaging in power struggles among various militant insurgent groups vying for control. Initially there was also the threat of foreign Al-Qaeda type terror groups attempting to wage a war against us. The foreign Al-Qaeda type groups had some success early on recruiting and controlling Suni Arab radicals in the North but the Iraqi Arabs have for the most part turned against Al-Qaeda and they are no longer considered a major threat in Iraq. There are literally dozens of political parties, some more radical than others. Altogether that difficult transition period has posed some challenges to the success of US operations designed to stabilize the region. The general trend, however, has been to greater and greater security along with increased pacification of radical groups as the government becomes more settled federally and is beginning to establish itself regionally as well.

That should all be common knowledge on this thread by now, why are you playing dumb about it?
