We have inflation and deflation happening simultaneously.....someone needs to decide which is the bigger problem.

Generally a recession knocks the piss out of inflation, but this is looking like stagflation. The inflation cycle can assume a life of it's own. Not for sure that it will. Need to watch wages... if wages start going up at a pretty good clip then the cycle has probably begun.
