'50 gram-metres/tonne gold equivalent' - g-m/t? ... how do you convert that to pennyweight-furlongs per stone? ... can't visualise it, think they mean just 'gram-metres' period

Trivia quiz - what outfit pulled a core with 99,000 gramme-metres of silver, once upon a time? ... 11m of 9000g/t, not AgEq, Ag straight, healthy Cu credits as well ... caught the vein at shallow angle no doubt, sure, true width unknown, but even so ...

Au/Ag ratio under 50 tonight, first time in a while ... my squint-'n-guess TA system came up with target of 46ish weeks ago, forget why, it lines up with previous bottoms or something ... ultimately 16-to-1 of course, saw that writ in scripshur, or maybe a web page, one of the two

Re: Mercedes comparison to SVL's >50 gram-meter delineation:

"I spoke to IR about it and was directed to SVL's COO, who compared it to the Klondike Main Shoot w/in Yamana's Mercedes project (http://www.yamana.com/Operations/Exploration/Mercedes/default.aspx)
who told me this was much bigger than that."

from Yamana IR:

The Klondike dimensions are 400 meters along strike with a depth of 240 meters (open at depth). The >50 gram-meter dimensions are 200 meters to depth and along strike it averages 100 meters (50m to 150 meters).

Yamana expects to release an initial resource estimate for Mercedes before the end of March, 2008.
