I saw the rifftraxx version of Battlefield Earth. Horrible, although I watched the whole thing. Travolta was actually fun to watch in the movie. L Ron's books were/are horrendous. I read a couple of the Mission Earth books when I was in high school.

Good call on the 2-3% rise above 1350 for the S&P. I didn't see it. I think we're about ready for another trip down.I'm going to sit on my hands as it comes down, assuming it does.
The market really is controlled by babbling morons. (MBAs, morons babbling aimlessly. They like to talk and plan, I'll tell you.)

Oh yeah, I think the explanation here is that the technical analysts call a buy if the market goes above 1360 or so. The market pushes above 1360 or so, gets the suckers to buy, then goes back down. I dunno, maybe not.
