Obama/Richardson is not a balanced ticket. Think of it as Obama/Rodriguez and then answer why would Obama want to do that when there are plenty of other folks who help the ticket. Hispanic vote will go overwhelmingly democrat in 08, no matter who the veep is.

A western Governor is a good thing on the ticket... plus Richardson has a great resume in International and Energy.

True, but put aside the Hispanic thing with Richardson. The fact is that Richardson was the MOST experienced Dem Candidate among all of them. He's an incredibly effective politician with a long and excellent resume on very important issues. He just wasn't as cool as Obama.

BTW, I was rooting for Richardson early on, because after I did my research he seemed the most qualified to me.

So if Obama gives him the VP, it would be an outstanding thing for this country.
