I was quoting michael97123. I assume he meant that there remains some lingering prejudice. I believe we have come a long way. But there is still some voters who would vote against a candidate because he is black - hopefully not too many. Michael made the point that adding an Hispanic (Richardson)to the ticket might increase (perhaps only marginally) such behavior. My point was that by adding a Jewish VP (Rendell)a similar result can be expected.
