I'm looking forward to driving my diabetes back into remission again. I'm sure that nobody here would advocate for someone keeping diabetes if they don't have to.

Let me be a little clearer. I've been treated for Type 2 diabetes for nearly a decade now. For the last six months prior to being arrested I no longer had to take any blood pressure or diabetes medicine. both bp and sugar were in normal ranges. After being arrested my bp peeked at 235/135. My sugar stayed normal without any medicine. While in jail my readings were as low as 75. This is why I say remission. In contrast to treat. After I was released, I redamaged my pancreas by consuming three glasses of chocolate milk over 2 days. My sugar spiked up over 350 and didn't look like it was going to return to normal levels again. I'm now forced to take the crap doctors push or die. CBD, the chemical in marijuana that that fights diabetes, causes a large reduction of the chemicals in the diabetics blood that causes the inflammation of the pancreas. In contrast standard diabetic medication pushes an inflamed pancreas to produce more insulin. This only lasts for so long before insulin injections are required as the pancreas gives up. It's a downward spiral the ends in death. With a lot of very nasty side effects along the way. Side effects like blindness, pain, amputation and more. This is currently the best modern FDA science has to offer. If people want to stay sick to avoid consuming the evil weed, more power to them. To require me to stay sick, by law, makes the system evil.
