Option timing has been especially challenging for me.
You can be 100% right on the general direction, but sometimes a few days could make the difference between a small fortune lost or gained

I think nearly every put that's expired on me the past 12-18 months would have eventually been profitable. Sometimes just a day or so away. Stocks that lost 1/2 their value like CROX, VMW, RSH, many HBs and on and on and on and on.
