OK, fine its over 50%. I figured it might be, I just wasn't sure.

You haven't shown that it is rapidly increasing as a percentage.

Discretionary spending has also increased at a good clip in recent years. I'd rather it had not does so, but my wishes where powerless to stop it.

In any case the real issue is the percentage of all spending (or if you prefer the percentage of all spending besides interest on the national debt)
