Yes THC has already been approved by the FDA. The DEA urged the FDA to reschedule it, after it was first approved, from a schedule 2 to schedule 3. Which they did. That means that if your doctor thinks it'll work for your skin rash, he can proscribe it for you. One problem is that it costs about $3000 for a months supply. Doesn't work as well as the much less expensive plant, but it's in a pill form. A combination of THC and CBD has been produced by a UK company. It's in a spray form. It's called Sativex. I think it's available in Canada. Sativex was being tested in the UK as a treatment for diabetes. I don't know if it still is. Someone died during the testing. Unlikely from the marijuana extract. If it was, it would be the first recorded death from marijuana in history. BTW it's estimated that to die from marijuana someone would have to consume about 1,500 pounds in ten minuets.
