So let me get this straight. In your book, any Democrat who works with a Republican, or vice versa, has abandoned their core values. And it is impossible for one Party to work with the other to provide win-win solutions.

Boy, no wonder this country is messed up. If there are a lot of people like you that believe in Party warfare, forgetting that we are all Americans, then this country is very simply doomed.

There are people who place party above anything else. To me, party is only number 4 on my list. Here is my order of importance:

1. God
2. Family
3. Country
4. Party

If my party deserted the main principles just like the neocons hijacking the Republican Party, it does not mean that I have to abandon my Republican Party just to vote for Obama. I will work within the Republican Party to restore the original principles.

Look, neither party represents 100% of a person's view. For example, the issue of tax cuts. There are tax cuts that I agree and there are tax cuts that I don't agree. I happen to disagree to death tax and anybody who dies in 2010 is free from that tax and right now only that year.

A shred of evidence for you ?
washingtonpost.com

I'd be more interested in your definition of 'partisan' and 'hack' - and your demonstration of how these terms apply to Obama.
Unless, of course, all political candidates associated with a party are by definition partisan hacks ?
