Governor of NY. Thats true--wonder what he thinks of spitzer?

The bigger issue is what New Yorkers think of Spitzer. He won with large margins, good will, and he blew it. Which creates an opening for Bloomberg if he wants to move up (and path to presidency is closed for now).

A record as a governor of New York would further enhance his credentials, in case he wants to try again in 2012 or 2016. But I repeat, he would not be a #2. If anything, he could possibly accept a high level cabinet post.
