people will vote FOR who they like the most.

Not me, not in this election. I'm going to vote for the person I dislike the least.

It's a real pleasure to have a campaign where we can finally vote FOR someone we like instead of saying hey, this sucks, but at least I can vote AGAINST that idiot.

IMO this election is one of the best cases of exactly that situation.

I think this general election is going to be a very polarizing one. We have the right wing extremists like Cunnigham, Limbaugh and Coulter trashing McCain. I know of women who revelled at the formation of MoveOn.org going for Hillary "because she is a woman" and they refuse to accept MoveOn's endorsement of Obama. The there are those who are enthralled by Obama's oratory prowess and would vote for him no matter what.

Who will succeed Justice Stevens and Ginsberg? Maybe someone from the 9th Circuit? Or is it going to be from the 3rd Circuit? I have not heard people debating that at all. Maybe people are happy with Bush's choice of the Chief Justice and Justice Alioto.
