<An awful lot of bulls out there today... ship listing to one side a bit..
Raised more cash today w/ my traders as I expect the annual PDAC sell off to start early next week..>

I don't know, Zincman. Stocks are not behaving too bullish overall, imo. Bullish gold and silver prices compared to most PM stocks just don't add up. It seems that the stocks are just lifting off:

Nickel may be starting a turn up too, some of its stocks were doing well today, bmc.v is already forty per cent off its lows, we recently bought back about a third of the shares we had last year, mostly for my wife in the 1.20s, she did so well on it it's like an old friend, and i do like the company ... they had sedars out this week, which may explain the move, i haven't read them yet ... also had a bid in on fni.to a few weeks ago, but it wasn't getting filled, i got enthused about something else and pulled it

PDAC has no effect on metals prices, just the stocks, and mostly the stocks that have run up big mainly in anticipation of, or during, PDAC ... as i recall anyway, of course each year is different, in many there tends to be a late-winter pause before spring rally, you have to wonder how not having any january effect until now will factor into that, it's an unusual year already

Zinc stocks are pretty cheap here, if i was in a profit-taking mood with PMs, which i'm not at all, i might be shifting a bit to zincs, especially if LME stocks flattened or started coming down ... of course with so many silver plays we get zinc as part of the package, no need to switch ... i don't even have any mostly-zinc plays on quotes, took them off to make room for PMs

The comment i made about A-wts conversion-conversationalists on the Chesapeake thread needing to sell them for rent money was in jest, fwiw ... no offense intended, just kidding, it seems some offense was taken and i hope only temporarily ... the major point i was trying to make was that i expect there are two groups involved in current ckg.v action - 1. people who are going to sell converted stock, and 2. people who want stock but are holding bids back waiting for class 1 folks to dump it cheap ... i believe group 2 will outnumber group 1, but it will take time for them to discover this, so ckg may snooze for a bit and then turn up as group 2 begins to compete among themselves ... just a theory, it's also possible that some among group 2 will prefer to improve the chart and will have the bucks to do so, they run it up ... i'm in group 2, fwiw, but not the latter sub-group, lol ... anyway, my most abject apologies, absolutely no offense intended to anybody
