Yeah but............the snow skiing in inner city Detroit really sucks ;-)

There are some truly gorgeous and finely detailed/crafted/appointed homes in Promontory that are not on the market........yet. ;-) Those available now(shown on that website) are mostly specs, built by former framing crew foremen who thought they were qualified to be Master Builders and cater to the elite Park City crowd. Quality design, craftsmanship and attention to detail are lacking on many of those. LOTS of anxious builders sitting on spendy specs in that town. I toured a dozen gorgeous spec homes in Southern Utah over the weekend, all ranging in price from 1.5 to 4.5 million. Builders anxious, offering free Hummers with purchase, etc.......

The high end is way overbuilt here in what WAS a formerly "hot" state for high end residential construction.
